For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been passionate about writing and getting a blog came along with it in my younger years. Most of the time, you'll find me in a café, writing and drinking an iced latte. And if you can't find me there, chances are that I'll probably be chilling in my Edinburgh flat, doing some home renovations, watching some Netflix show or just booking my next adventure.
I'm Lou, the face behind Notes Of Winter. You must wonder why such a name, and it's easy. I love winter, it's my favorite season. The cold weather, Christmas, all the lights and the snow. But even in the coldest day, you can be sure of 2 things: I will drink an iced latte. And I will go to the beach. And when you won't find me at the beach, you'll most likely find me in a museum or in a botanical garden. Or just wandering around with my camera, because guess what, I'm a curious cat who takes pictures of anything. I'm just trying to document my life even if the only people who read my blog are me or bots (most likely).
I also love the slow days, during which I can stay home nestled in my comfy sofa. And this is what this diary (I prefer this to the term 'blog') is about, sharing my slow life and the few adventures I sometimes embark upon. Or talking about what I like in life. The goal is also for me to provide daily inspiration through aesthetic pictures and captivating writing.
